The Event
As you already know, this won't be a traditional wedding with a ceremony, veil, and gown.
The event to celebrate our union—AKA our wedding—will be on Friday, June 20th.
🍸🍹 It will be a cocktail party on the beach 🌊 from 4 PM to 7 PM.
After that, we'll head to one of the resort's bars (TBD).
We'll probably have a little "pre‑game" before as well, since the event is limited to 3 hours. Once we arrive at the resort, I'll check which bar seems best and let you all know.
Dinner
The night before, on Thursday (June 19th), we were able to reserve a section of one of the restaurants (I believe it's the main buffet, but I'll confirm) so we can all have dinner together at 6:30 PM.
Resort Restaurants & Activities
The resort has several restaurants, but you need to make reservations (as soon as you check in, I suggest making yours).
After check‑in, you can book through this link:
https://cdtd.princess-hotels.com/en/
Because of the reservation system, it might be hard to get the entire group together for every meal each day. So feel totally free to eat what you want, when you want.
That's always been the idea—for you to relax instead of sticking to a tight schedule 😅🙏🏻
So far, these are the only full group activities:
- Dinner on Thursday at 6:30 PM (restaurant TBC)
- Private beach cocktail party on Friday, June 20th at 4 PM (with optional pre‑game around 3 PM and after‑party at a bar, TBD)
- Boat Adventure on Saturday, June 21st at 9 AM — open bar, lunch, and snorkeling on a 60‑foot Catamaran (optional, $99 per person)
Wednesday: most people are arriving Wednesday. We'll play it by ear around the pool and beach as people arrive. In the evening, we'll find a place for drinks and send everyone a message to gather after everyone has had a chance to settle in.
Saturday: after the boat, we'll plan to gather everyone remaining Saturday evening for a final cocktail and hang.
1st Non‑annual Emergency Wedding Golf Invitational Championship
Thursday, June 19th at 9:30 AM
For the golfers in the group, we'll be running an emergency golf tournament with prizes for individual best and worst golfers, best ball team, and more at La Cana Golf Club with beautiful holes along the ocean.
Optional for golfers – ~$200 per person and $75 golf club rentals available if you don't wanna bring your clubs.

Airport Transfers
The resort does not offer shuttle service to/from the airport.
They recommended a trusted company that provides this service.
The price is $40 USD per ride (same price for up to 4 people).
They also have Uber there (I tested it on my app), and each ride averages $20 USD—so it's half the price.
However… I'm not sure how easy it is to get one, what the cars are like, or how safe it is…
Time Zone
Punta Cana is in Atlantic Standard Time (AST, UTC‑4).
Weather
In mid‑June, Punta Cana is usually hot and humid:
82°F to 90°F
(28°C to 32°C)
73°F to 77°F
(23°C to 25°C)
81°F to 84°F
(27°C to 29°C)
- Feels hotter due to the humidity
- Rain: June marks the start of the rainy season, with quick showers usually in the late afternoon (start your rain dances, y'all 🙏🏼)
Dress Code
The resort's website lists the dress code for each restaurant.
As for the beach cocktail, honestly—I want you to wear whatever you want. I just want everyone to feel comfortable and relaxed.
It'll probably be pretty hot and humid, so keep that in mind. What would you wear to go out to a beach bar on a summer afternoon? That's basically it haha
But really—zero stress!
Group Activities
We need to know who's interested in the emergency golf tournament and boat adventure so we can finalize the headcount.
The cost for the boat is $99 per person – includes open bar, lunch, snorkeling, and a few scenic stops along the way.
You can check out more details here:
https://hispaniolaaquaticadventures.com/private-catamaran-snorkeling-excursion-puntacana.php?lang=en
The boat we're booking is the Forever Teresa, on Saturday, 9 AM‑1 PM. They will pick us up at 8:25 AM (bring your towel).
Please confirm as soon as possible and send me a Venmo or Zelle at your convenience.
Likewise, for golf please let me know asap bc I reserved 14 slots and need to cancel or add tee times depending on how many people want to play.
Other than that, the hotel offers activity suggestions, which open a week prior, and we encourage anyone to book anything they'd like to do! Check this link for options: https://cdtd.princess-hotels.com/en/agenda
E‑Ticket
If you're traveling to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, you are required to complete an E‑Ticket, which is a digital entry and exit form mandated by the Dominican government.
🛂 What is the E‑Ticket?
The E‑Ticket is a mandatory online form that replaces traditional paper immigration and customs documents. It must be completed before both entering and exiting the Dominican Republic. Upon completion, you'll receive a QR code that should be presented at the airport during check‑in and upon arrival.
👨👩👧👦 Traveling with Family?
If you're traveling as a family, a single E‑Ticket form can include information for up to 7 people (the primary traveler plus six additional family members). Only adults need to fill out the customs section. This process will generate one QR code for the entire family group.
✅ Tips for a Smooth Process
- Official Website Only: Complete the E‑Ticket on the official website: https://eticket.migracion.gob.do. Be cautious of third‑party websites that may charge fees; the E‑Ticket is free.
- Timing: It's recommended to fill out the form within 72 hours before your travel date to ensure all information is current.
- QR Code: After submission, save or print the QR code. You'll need to present it during airport procedures.
- Separate Forms for Entry and Exit: You must complete separate E‑Ticket forms for your arrival and departure.
